Fight Breast Cancer with Team U-City - June 21, 2008
Join Team U-City on June 21 for the annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure! To register: visit www.komenstlouis.org by June 2. Click on “register now” then “join an existing team” and register for Team U-City #08308. Include your child’s school so that your T-shirts can be delivered prior to the event. To pay by check, print the online form and send by May 19 with a check, payable to Susan G. Komen Foundation, to UCHS c/o Dayle Burgdorf, 7401 Balson Road, University City, MO 63130.

Health Fair U. City - June 7, 2008
The School District of University City’s department of pupil personnel is coordinating Health Fair U. City, a health-centered, family affair for community members. The event is free and for community members of all ages. It will be held on Saturday, June 7 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Julia Goldstein Early Childhood Education Center, located at 737 Kingsland. Planned activities include Health and Fitness Information * Finger Print IDs, Dental Education * Health, Hearing & Vision Screenings , Child, Pre-Teen & Teen Immunizations* * Fire Truck *Bring immunization record to be updated. Back to School Rally 2008 seeks support for August 2 event
The School District of University City is planning its second annual Back-To-School Rally for Saturday, August 2, on the grounds of Jackson Park Elementary School.
Last year, the District gave away nearly 1,500 backpacks filled with school supplies. Local community organizations and the schools hosted booths and activities for the students and their families. This year, we are looking to give away more backpacks and include more organizations.
